Global Product Supply (GPS) in Ireland is responsible for manufacturing within LEO.

In Ireland, Finished Goods Manufacturing (FGMIE) based in Dublin is part of the LEO Pharma Dermatology Value Stream, supplying dermatology products worldwide.

Our team is engaged in the production, quality management, quality control, storage and distribution of topical creams and ointments. A number of other colleagues based at the site are responsible for Regulatory Affairs, HR, Finance and Internal Audit. Click here to meet our production Leadership Team.

A state of the art factory working on a 24 hours a day 5 days a week basis known as ‘24/5’ produces approx. 72 million units per year.

 

The product range consists of non-sterile topical products (ointments, creams, gels, gauze) and a sterile ophthalmic product (gel).

Leo Pharma Cork

LEO Pharma Cork, part of the innohep® (tinzaparin sodium) value stream produces API (active pharmaceutical ingredients) for Thrombotic (blood clot) products; Heparin LEO® and Innohep® using advanced biochemical purification techniques. These products are anticoagulants. They are well recognised medically in the treatment of venous thrombosis and as an anticoagulant in heart-lung machines, blood transfusions and haemodialysis.

Fifty employees are employed at the Cork facility working in production, quality and operational excellence.
